The team

Techiewear Team is a mixed team: third, fourth and fifth class students (aged 17- 19) attending a specializing course in Computer Science /ICT at IIS Belluzzi-Fioravanti and their ICT teachers.
The project has been developed as an extra curricular activity. Students have used skills developed in their dailly curricular school work, carrying out tasks, sharing, interacting and developing parts of the project on an individual basis or in groups.

I am a teacher of mathematics with a degree in physics.I have an important hobby: I stitch, cross stitch, knit and so on.
In this project I played the role of the tailor (Chief Seamstress Officier).
I stitched the different components on the glove and inside the tracksuit, using lilypad and conductive threads, following the electrical map given by the project.

I’m Domenico, a student of Computer Science (4th class) at Belluzzi-Fioravanti technical school since 2010. I’ve parteciped to this project because I like android programming: in fact I’m one of Walkeo’s programmers. I like my school and I love studying Computer Science, expecially Java programming language. I am interested in Android programming, because it's awesome to make an app for your smartphone! In my free time, I watch italian and English football matches, I support Naples, and also car races, like Formula 1.

I attended the Maker Faire 2013 Rome with the Focus Award winner Belluzzi Gooble Bike
In this project I developed the main idea, I played the role of coordinator of the whole project and I supported student's workflow mainly in microcontroller programming and mobile app

I love computers, but also I like watching films and swimming. I know some programming languages, such as Java, some of PHP and also C/C++. Helping to develop this project I improved lot of my knowledge.

My interests span more on development of server-side software, but I let myself intrigued by the other application areas of computer science. This particular project also combines my passion for cycling and walking. My role in this project is "cloud team" coordinator, we developed the online services.

I'm an Information Technology student at Itis Odone Belluzzi in Bologna. I'm 18 years old and I'm going to graduate this year. I play football and I have been interested in technologies since I was a child. Two years ago I attended a Scientific High School, but disliking some subjects I decided to change school following my passion for technologies and computer science. In these two years I have improved my coding and video editing skills. I'm developing, as my term paper for the final examination, a server side system based on a database that allows you to control the home management online adding all your purchases. In the project Techiewear I have helped to develop the Android app but I've mainly worked on the creation of this website .

My name is Manuel and I am 17, I'm a student of Computer Science at Belluzzi Fioravanti Technical school. have loved technology since I was at primary school and I love riding my bike.I found this project very cool, so I immediately joined it, although I'm not very good at school in other subjects, such as Maths and History.

For this project I've worked on the server side application, and I have helped in the development of the web client.

I first got to know computers when I was 5, i'm a computer science student and i love the IT world expecially the www ad its technologies. I also like snowboarding and kitesurfing.
I've got good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JS and a bit of jQuery .I took part into Techiewear project to enhance my personal and teamwork skills, i mainly developed web interfaces and a bit of back-end code based on Yii framework

Student of Computer Science at Odone Belluzzi School in Bologna since 2010, next September I will attend the 5th class.
I've always loved computers and technology so I decided to attend this school and this year I've started studying not only the Arduino environment but also the server-related technologies, such as PHP, and mobile technologies focusing on Android development.
I attended the Maker Faire Rome 2013 with the Focus Award winner Belluzzi Gooble Bike.
In this project I've developed some UI features on the cloud application for example the training review page which shows training maps and statistics charts, even in real time, and some technical back-end functions and services such as some APIs which are used by our Android app to store and retrieve information on or from the cloud application on the server. I'm part of the cloud division.
